Probably one of the most phenomenal phablets of all time! Samsung was not mistaken to release this one-of-a-kind, do-it-all technology. When the first Samsung Note was released, there were mixed reactions from people regarding its specs and what it can offer. Overtime, people were convinced that the Samsung Note did have a lot to offer. Then came the Samsung Galaxy Note II. There was a lot of hype before its release date and when people finally got to see for themselves what it was all about, it surely did not disappoint.
By now, I would expect that people would have already accepted the size of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm weighing 180 grams) since it is pretty much comparable to its predecessor. The point of it being bigger in size is that it offers a different take on the usual smaller screen smartphones. The screen is perfect--5.5” is just the right size for a phablet that has multiple functions.
Not only is the screen size fantastic, its quality is to die for! No pixels, clearer and better color--what more could you ask for? Plus, what’s really awesome is that it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is equipped with Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9! It also has Multi-Window Multi-tasking. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 allows the user to have 2 applications simultaneously running on the screen--Yes, you can actually watch Youtube uninterrupted while you have yahoo on the other half of your screen.
Another stand out is the Smart Stay. This is enabled when you want your screen to stay on as long as you’re looking at it (Yes, it can sense when you are doing so). Of course, it has the handy dandy GPS, wiFi and Bluetooth.
The camera takes amazing pictures with its 8-megapixel rear cam, auto-focus and LED flash as well as a respectable 1.9-megapixel front cam. With a bigger storage (16GB, 32GB or 64GB) available, you can definitely take as many pictures as you fancy.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Review
As for speakers, there is a very big difference from other smartphones. Gone are the times when you don’t hear your phone ring!
Battery life is unexpectedly incredible! With its 3100 mAh battery, you can expect upto 3 days under medium usage. Charging is not a hassle too-- it is much faster than other smartphones.
All in all, this is one smartphone which will be very difficult to resist since it practically has everything anyone would need their phone and mini-tablet to do.
