How to unlock your BlackBerry - Guide
There's absolutely no doubt in anyones' minds that BlackBerry phones have become one of the most popular phones in the world. Research in Motion, a Canadian based company has developed a ton of different BlackBerry models to cater to every individual need worldwide.
Now as the title states, how to unlock any BlackBerry phone, I'm going to teach you exactly how you can get this job done. But before we continue, why should you unlock blackberry? It's really hard to sum it all up in just a few words, but I'll do my best to keep this short and sweet.
Advantages of Unlocking your BlackBerry Smart Phone
By unlocking your BlackBerry phone, whether you unlock your BlackBerry bold, or unlock your BlackBerry curve, there are three major benefits that everyone can enjoy.
#1.) You are able to use your BlackBerry with the same contact book, same applications, same everything on any GSM network. GSM network refers to wireless carriers which use SIM cards as a primary means of communications. Popular North American network carriers include AT&T, T-mobile, Rogers and Fido. Other popular network carriers in the United States such as Verizon and Sprint operate on CDMA technology.
#2.) You can virtually eliminate all of your roaming fees. To sum up roaming fees in a few words, they are those crazy high per minute rates or per kilobyte rates (data) that you see on your phone bill when you travel. Typically, network carriers will charge $1.45 - $4.00 per minute while you are traveling. We've all heard of those crazy horror stories of people coming home after an amazing vacation to a bill of $30,000! By using an unlock BlackBerry phone, you can travel to your desired destination, purchase a pay as you go SIM card and add as many or as little minutes to your phone. You'll get a local number, and you'll probably end up paying less than $20 on wireless usage for your entire trip! $30,000 - $20 = $29,980 in savings! #3.) If you ever decide to sell your phone, the value of your BlackBerry increases significantly! Even if you decide to hand your BlackBerry down to someone else, you give them more value by giving them an unlocked BlackBerry instead of one that is carrier locked to your carrier, not necessarily theirs.
This Sounds too Good to be True...How do I get my BlackBerry Unlocked?
BlackBerry unlocking can be done at an extremely affordable cost. You'd think that for unlimited savings on wireless travel, it should cost $1000! Well, I have some good news for you. It doesn't cost $1000. In fact, it doesn't even cost $500. Better yet, it doesn't even cost $100! The best news about this is that you can find cell phone unlocking companies online selling BlackBerry codes from as low as $16 - $50. Anything less than that is usually a scam and isn't worth your time, money, or stress. Cellfservices provides BlackBerry unlock codes at an extremely affordable price between $16-$21.
