How to Reinstall Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a free Internet browser made by Google. It can be used on computers running the Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. If you are having problems with Google Chrome (slow connection, freezes or crashes), you should consider reinstalling the program. To reinstall Google Chrome, you need to first uninstall the program. Reinstall Google on a Linux Computer

1.Go to http://www.google.com/chrome to download the browser.

2. Select "Download Google Chrome."

3. Read the service terms and select "Accept and Install." You cannot install Google Chrome without accepting the terms of service.

4. Select "OK". This will open the package.

5. Select "Install Package" and allow the installation to complete.

6. Choose "Close." In order to open Google Chrome, you must go to "Applications," then select "Internet" and choose "Google Chrome."

7. Go to http://www.google.com/chrome to download the browser.

8. Select "Download Google Chrome."

9. Read the service terms and then select "Accept and Install." You cannot install Google without accepting the terms of service. After you accept, the installation will begin automatically.

10. Allow the installation to finish. A dialog box will appear.

11. Select "Start Google Chrome". That will complete its installation and the browser will open automatically.

12. Go to http://www.google.com/chrome to download the browser.

13. Select "Download Google Chrome."

14. Read the service terms and then select "Accept and Install." As with the other operating systems, you can't install Google Chrome without accepting the terms of service.

15. Open the file labeled "Google Chrome.dmg." A Google Chrome window will open up.

16. Drag that Chrome icon from the window that opened up to the desktop. This will start installation.

17. Open the browser. The Finder will have you confirm that you want to open the application you downloaded from the Internet.

18. Select "Open." You must select this to open the program. Unlike Windows computers, Macs don't automatically open programs after installation.
